Mrs. Israa Saleh Daoud, President of the Insurance Bureau, chaired this morning, Thursday, 11/2/2023, at the Bureau’s headquarters, a meeting attended by the Managing Director of the Insurance Association, a number of directors of private companies, and the Director of the Iraqi Insurance Company Department. The Managing Director of Al-Shorouk Reinsurance Brokerage Company was also present.

Where the amendment regarding licensing the insurance broker, regulating his work, determining his responsibility, and amending the Health Insurance Law No. 22 of 2020 was discussed, this came as a continuation of the previous meeting session held on 9/12/2023.

The meeting resulted in the amendment of some paragraphs related to the above meeting topic.
