Yesterday, Monday, 1/8/2024, a meeting was held at the Bureau’s headquarters, headed by Mrs. President of the Bureau, Israa Saleh Dawoud, and in the presence of a number of technical department officials in public companies and some authorized directors of private companies, to discuss the insurance tariff (Fire and Accident Committee).
The comparison between the current tariff and the tariff presented by the Iraqi Insurance Association, which is not complete and depends on statistics for all types of risks.
In conclusion, the attendees agreed that the current tariff would be the reliable one, provided that there would be flexibility in setting the price at a rate not exceeding 25%, downward upon subscription whenever appropriate.
