A meeting was held at the Bureau’s headquarters last Thursday, 1/25/2024, in the presence of the President of the Bureau, Mrs. Israa Saleh Dawoud, the Director of the Internal Control Department, the Commissioner Director of the Iraqi Insurance Association, the Director of Internal Control at the Iraqi General Insurance Company, the Director of Control at the Iraqi General Reinsurance Company, and a number of auditors. Private insurance companies, to discuss the draft conditions for the auditor, and the attendees expressed their valuable comments. For the purpose of understanding the matter, it was decided to approach the Council of the Auditing and Oversight Profession to seek their opinion, and for this purpose, the meeting was postponed to a later date.
