On Wednesday, February 21, 2024, the 34th conference of the General Arab Insurance Federation concluded in the Omani capital, Muscat, in which the Insurance Bureau, one of the formations of the Ministry of Finance, participated, representing Iraq. The conference’s slogan was (For a more sustainable and comprehensive Arab insurance industry: How can Arab companies engage in a revolution?) Artificial Intelligence) The Bureau participated with an official delegation headed by the Bureau’s President, Ms. Israa Saleh Dawoud, and a number of the Bureau’s employees.

The conference came out with the following recommendations:

1- Encouraging insurance companies to use artificial intelligence.

2- Giving importance to the risks arising from natural disasters and providing insurance coverage for them.

3-The necessity of working in accordance with international standards in insurance operations to ensure the safety of insurance companies.
