Within a series of measures followed by the Insurance Bureau to advance and develop the insurance situation in Iraq. After holding meetings chaired by Ms. Israa Saleh Daoud, President of the Insurance Bureau, the Insurance Bureau approved a number of public and private insurance companies and in the presence of the directors of the relevant departments, the authorized directors, and the authorized director of the Insurance Association (Hidden Defects Insurance Policy – Decimal Liability), which is the model approved by the Insurance Bureau. After briefing the attendees on the terms of the document and the risks it covers, which include damage to buildings as well as additional benefits and compensation arising from the costs of demolition or removing violations. It was also decided by agreement to proceed with the promotion and implementation of the document in the Iraqi insurance market, and what is stated therein is considered the minimum, as it is considered an indicative model. The company has the right to include other risks consistent with the nature of this type of insurance, or to reduce the full coverage in line with the underwriting policy of each company.
