The Council of Ministers approved the adoption of the Iraqi National Electronic Insurance Platform for health insurance purposes for visitors, expatriates and residents in accordance with the provisions of Health Insurance Law No. 22 of 2020. The platform will work in coordination between the Health Insurance Authority and the Insurance Bureau, and its importance is highlighted by simplifying the necessary procedures, speeding up the completion of health insurance operations, and improving the provision of insurance services to the above categories. It is also a step in supporting insurance companies in order to advance the Iraqi insurance sector.
